Impact Spotlight - Engineer ExtraordinaireFebruary 25, 2014
Network Engineer since 2012
So I have always been fascinated by how things work / fit together from taking a hammer to all of the windows in my grandfather’s camper shell to taking the same hammer my mother’s “I’m dating myself here”, brand new cassette player. I tell folks that I have always taken stuff apart to see how it works, but the older I get the better I am at putting these things back together.
My IT experience started in 1994 with my mother’s Apple Performa 550, and when she started loaning me out to her friends to help them with their computers, I then had the thought “I might be able to make a dime doing computer work”. Personally I am blessed with a woman who loves me, and two mutts one that thinks he is 80# and weights 10#, and the other that thinks she is 10# and weights 80#. Life is good.
